This exhibition presents the travel routes of several artists from Tyrol and Trentino and the impressions they gathered during their journeys around the world. At the beginning of the 19th century Rome and the whole Italian peninsula were the preferred destinations of artists, then more and more Paris and New York became the center of artistic innovation. After the Second World War begun a new era of freedom and mobility, and new art centers born.
